Pyrford’s U13 Girls Team won their first match of the season, beating Blackheath in a very exciting match that went to the final over.
The game was infused with a terrific spirit – both teams playing competitively but fairly. Well done Girls !!

They remained unbeaten throughout the competition – all bowling and batting with aplomb. Go Panthers !!
Pyrford CC’s Under 14s have won their division of the West Surrey Youth Cricket League for the 6th successive year, having won in their age group at Under 9 in 2012 up to Under 14 in 2017. During this period they have lost just one divisional match. The top teams from each division go through to a champions’ play-off competition and Pyrford’s U14s have just won this as well, beating Guildford in the semi-final and Sunbury in the final. The team includes 8 boys who currently play, or have in the past played, county or district cricket at their age group.
